Introduction
The entire online site is included on the CD ROM so there
is no waiting to download images. The CD is supposed to be
Mac and PC compatible. It caused my Mac to hang up but
customer service at ScreamDesign told me that I was the
only one with this problem.
Positives
The CD is easy to navigate. The Button Vault is the meat
of the site. You can choose your type of button from many
categories such as shape, letter, icons, and animations,
hen you can select image style and color. There are groups
of buttons including different shapes, arrows, sizes which
are all coordinated for use together on a web page.
There
are 21 vertical and 11 horizontal interfaces. There is a
variety of styles including electronic, old west,
education, mechanical. You can add your own text in your
graphics program.
The
New Stuff section is nicely done and includes tutorials
for Photoshop and Illustrator. A PDF file created by
Metacreations shows real world projects and how they were
done and are narrated by the artists.
Textures
include real world textures like grass, bricks, stones and
even a human brain.
The
CD also features many unique fonts, cartoons, web clip art
and software demos.
Negatives
Aside
from the conflict I had with my Mac, I have no complaints!
Conclusion
If
you are creating a website and are in need of coordinated
graphics to use as navigational tools, this is a helpful
tool.
